Project
Partners for Environmental Cooperation in Europe (PECE) aims to contribute to the protection and improvement of the environment, an improvement in people's quality of life, and the promotion of sustainable development in the Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA) region, through multi-sector partnership projects involving the public sector, business and civil society.
This APRIL project on air quality management in London and Moscow has been funded through the PECE intiative supported by Defra International.
The aim of this project is to compare air quality in both cities, share knowledge of modelling air pollution using the ADMS-Urban dispersion model, share experience in relation to policies to reduce pollution, and establish a long-term biological monitoring study using lichen.
